Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and WASL GLOBAL LTD ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom under Company Registration Number 17268023. They govern your access to and use of the WASL website, platform, spaces, events, and any related services (together, the "Services").

By visiting our website, applying for access, creating an account, or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

For details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

1. About WASL & Acceptance of Terms

WASL is a curated digital networking platform and peer-to-peer directory designed for individuals from Muslim origins to connect with like-minded peers through shared social and recreational interests, such as sports, coffee meetups, and dinners.

These Terms apply to all products, services, and online properties operated under the WASL brand, including our website (https://waslcircle.com), onboarding forms, directory, and digital group spaces.

By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services on behalf of another person or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind them to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account Access

You must be at least 18 years old to use WASL. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

WASL is a selective, curated peer-to-peer directory. Access is subject to application and approval at our sole discretion. We may decline, pause, or revoke access without obligation to provide reasons, within applicable law.

Your account is personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, assign, or share your account with others.

WASL is a platform centred on Muslim values and identity. By signing up and participating, you confirm that you are comfortable using a service designed to foster networking within this demographic.

3. Description of Services

WASL's Services include:

  • Reviewing and approving applications for directory inclusion.
  • Onboarding flows and collection of professional and interest-based profile information.
  • Fostering peer-to-peer connections through a digital directory and discussion boards.
  • Access to user profiles and platform group communication spaces.
  • Providing tools for users to discover member events, local group meetups, and interest-based activities.
  • Digital communication tools and group chats hosted on the WASL platform.
  • Administrative communications about your account, platform updates, and service features.

We may add, modify, or remove features and services at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee any specific number of activity pairings or offline connections.

We operate strictly as an activity-based member directory and peer-to-peer networking portal. We do not provide Software as a Service (SaaS), romantic matchmaking, or online dating services.

4. Account Registration & Security

To access directory-only areas, you must create an account and provide accurate, current information (including your email, phone number, and other onboarding details).

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse of your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or incomplete information, breach these Terms or our Privacy Policy, or create risk or harm for other users or for WASL.

5. Subscription Fees & Billing

WASL operates on a recurring digital subscription model (for example, monthly), as clearly shown on our pricing and checkout pages.

By starting a paid subscription and providing payment details, you authorise us and our payment provider (Stripe) to charge your subscription fee using your chosen payment method.

Unless stated otherwise, your subscription will auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. The exact price, billing cycle, currency, and any trial or promotional terms are always displayed at checkout.

We may update subscription fees or billing terms. Any change will apply from your next renewal, and we will communicate material changes with reasonable notice (for example, on the site or via a message).

6. Cancellations & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your online account portal or by contacting our support team via email.

When you cancel, future renewals and charges stop. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid period and then automatically ends.

Apart from the guarantee below and any mandatory legal rights, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial use, inactivity, or change of mind.

Our Platform Guarantee: For new users, we offer a trial guarantee: try the WASL platform for 2 months. If you do not find the platform directory valuable or are unable to connect with peers in your city, we will return your subscription payment for that period, provided you either (a) attended at least one member meetup or (b) established no active networking connections.

If a payment fails or is disputed (for example, via chargeback), we may suspend or terminate your access until the issue is resolved.

7. Platform Standards & Acceptable Use

To protect users on the platform, you agree that you will not:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against any user.
  • Share illegal, hateful, obscene, or harmful content.
  • Misrepresent your identity, background, or intentions.
  • Use WASL to spam, solicit, or promote unrelated products, services, or commercial offers.
  • Scrape, copy, harvest, or misuse user profiles, contact details, or other directory data.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer any part of our web portal or technology.

We may, at our discretion, remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these standards or applicable law.

8. Events, Meetups & Safety

WASL organizes member meetups and coordinates directory categories, but individual, self-organized interactions between users remain the sole responsibility of the users themselves.

You understand that you attend all events and meetups at your own risk and are responsible for your own conduct, safety, and physical interactions. WASL is not liable for the behavior, actions, or omissions of individual users or third parties at any event, except where required by applicable law.

We may refuse or withdraw access to events or groups where a user's behavior is inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive to the platform's user base.

9. User Content, Photos & Licence

"User Content" includes everything you share or submit through WASL, such as profile information, professional bio, meetup preferences, group chat messages, and photos you upload or share with us after events.

By submitting User Content, you:

  • Confirm that you own or have rights to share that content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
  • Grant WASL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate and improve our services (for example, showing your profile in our member directory to other users, or using selected group photos to showcase meetups on our website, social channels, or newsletters).
  • Acknowledge that certain profile fields (such as your name, city, bio, professional details, social links, and selected meetup formats) will be visible to other approved users inside our private member directory.

Photos you share with us after member events may be used to showcase our activities. If you later ask us not to use a specific photo that clearly identifies you, we will remove it from future use where practical. We may access, review, and moderate User Content and group conversations to enforce our platform standards, investigate reports, or troubleshoot technical issues.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Services (including the WASL name, logo, branding, website design, database, code, and content we create) belongs to us or our licensors.

We grant you a limited, revocable licence to use our web portal for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in line with these Terms.

You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit our content beyond what is reasonably necessary to use the Services, or build a competing service based on confidential or non-public aspects of our platform directory.

11. Third-Party Services & External Groups

We use third-party providers - such as Stripe (payments processing), analytics, hosting, and communication tools - to deliver our services. Their terms and privacy practices are separate, and your use of them is subject to their policies.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of third-party websites or services integrated with or linked from WASL.

Users must not use WASL's name, brand, or account data to create unofficial groups, digital spaces, or social channels that appear to be endorsed by WASL without our prior written consent.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law: The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available. We do not guarantee any specific networking or personal outcomes from your use of the WASL platform.

Some WASL content, events, or conversations may touch on wellbeing, lifestyle, or general sports activities. This information is for general informational purposes only and is not professional or medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making major changes to your physical routine or sports activities.

13. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law: WASL GLOBAL LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or in connection with your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to WASL in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WASL GLOBAL LTD and its team from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, your User Content, or your interactions with other users.

14. Termination

You may stop using our services and cancel your subscription at any time, as set out in Section 6.

We may suspend or terminate your access, without refund, if we reasonably believe that you breached these Terms or our Privacy Policy, misused our directory data, or created risk or harm for our platform.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may notify you via our website or other communication channels. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
